What does the scarcity of 6" PVC pipes have to do with homemade silencers???

Is this the size pipe used to "store" a firearm in for safe keeping under some dirt?

That size is what I measured out for an AR15 with the pistol grip still attached. I think you can get by with 4 inch if you take the pistol grip off.

Try going to the plumbing supply companies. Sometimes they have scrap piles of pipe and give it away for free. My loving man is a plumber and came home one day and told me of this pile of pipe. So I INSTRUCTED him to start bringing it home. He got all sizes, up to 12 inches wide by 10 ft long. They finally told him no more! But I got my pipe! I have no problem dumpster diving! Especially when someone else dives for me!
